The Shawl Design

Here is a basic overview of the shape and construction:

  • The shawl starts with a garter stitch tab and grows into a large crescent-shaped.

  • The design combines bands of gansey and brioche stitches (with optional garter).

  • The knitted edge adds a little lace flourish to finish off your knit.

Customer Review

"This is perhaps my favorite of the many Stolen Stitches patterns I’ve made. The shawl is so interesting to knit, utilizing garter, brioche, and Gansey stitches. The size of the shawl and in particular the knitted on edging make it a welcome addition to anyone’s collection. I really recommend this pattern."
