What is this year's inspiration?

In 2025, the designers are taking their inspiration from ancient Ireland. From those stories passed down to us through stone. Those stories that, if you listen while you walk, you can hear them calling from the land underfoot.

With this in mind, our designers Eimear Earley, Laura Perrem, and Carol Feller are going to go on their own design journeys fulling embracing what this theme means to each of them.

Stories lost in our landscape.

Stories steeped in myth and folklore.

Stories etched in stone.

The designs will inspire you to grab your needles, get comfy, and celebrate knitted cables with us as we wander our ancient landscape.

Customer Reviews:

"I really like this club!

The yarn, most patterns, the thoughts behind everything. Carol does a great job, I feel I get more than my money's worth. It makes me happy to be able to knit with yarn from Ireland, my family roots are there, so it makes me feel connected."

Recommended Yarns for Your Projects

We’ve picked out two yarns we recommend for this year’s cable knit patterns:

Deas

Soft, light, and rustically Irish, Deas is 86% Merino Wool and 14% Mohair.

With vibrant shades in a yarn that's perfect for BIG cables and simple stocking stitch, Deas adds a touch of Celtic wildness to your most loved knits.

Blasta

With the help of Donegal Yarns, we’ve sourced a yarn that’s 60% Irish; it’s rustic but still comfortable to knit with and wear.

It's a rustic, durable DK woollen spun yarn ideal for textured and cabled knits.
